Meet Bacon!<br/><br/>Bacon is a 7-year-old gentleman who deserved so much better than the hand he was dealt. When his family moved, they decided he could simply be left outside to fend for himself. Despite struggling to find food, Bacon survived until he was finally brought to safety.<br/><br/>Since coming into rescue, Bacon has been fully vetted, updated on vaccines, and showered with the care he always deserved. He does have a mild grade 2/6 heart murmur, but it currently does not require any medication.<br/><br/>Bacon is good with other cats and okay with dogs. Review our adoption contract and application.<br/><br/>2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling.<br/><br/>3. You will be notified of the outcome of your application within 1-3 days.<br/><br/>5. If approved, you will be introduced to the foster to schedule a meeting within 5 days. Guidelines for the meeting are:<br/><br/>- Bring a carrier and be prepared to take the animal home directly from the meeting.<br/><br/>- Please be prepared to submit the adoption fee via electronic payment at the meeting.<br/><br/>- If all goes well, the cat will go home with you directly after the meeting. If you are not ready to adopt at the conclusion of the meeting, please understand that we may process other applications for the cat. Because we have a limited number of foster homes, we cannot hold cats past adoption.<br/><br/>6.
