REVISED BIO JANUARY 8, 2024: Meet Avon! A volunteer favorite! Avon, with her lush, sleek and shiny coat of black, along with those amber-colored eyes, is simply gorgeous! Avon is a quiet, confident, calm, gentle, loving, friendly, social, good-natured, laid-back and endearing cat. She can be quite playful at times, especially with a wand toy. Avon loves to be stroked and truly enjoys being brushed! She enjoys human companionship and will often reward that affection with head butts, chin rubs, purring and some gentle love bites. Avon is approximately 8 years old. She may not be a spring chicken, but she is healthy and quite agile. We are determined to find this sweet and friendly senior a loving retirement home where she can live out her years as a pampered pet.
