Avery's Story

Avery is a gentle soul with a strong and intriguing personality. At first, she may seem a little reserved — she likes to take her time observing her new surroundings and making sure she feels safe. Once trust is built, she is a very sweet girl. She enjoys lounging in sunny spots, her scratching posts, sweet treats, and playtime.

Avery would thrive in a patient, loving home where she can come out of her shell at her own pace. She would do best in a home where she’s the only cat. If you’re looking for a cat who will reward your kindness with quiet affection and unwavering sweetness, Avery is your girl!

Avery was found on the street, friendly and was easily scooped up and brought home. We don’t think she came from a great place or had some issues on the street as she doesn’t like change and has shown us how much more loving and affectionate she is once she is fully settled in.

Avery is about 10 months old and is healthy, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for FIV and FeLV.

If you would like to meet Avery, please fill out our application here:
https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/
.
