Meet Athena
*Come meet sweet Athena up at the Petsmart in Clay!*
Athena is a big beautiful torbie (tabby/tortoiseshell) female. She's between 1-2yrs old. She was rescued from a dangerous area and is very social, so she was probably someone's discarded pet and was just searching for safety unfortunately.
Athena is a VERY sweet girl who loves to be loved and is very much like a puppy who wants to follow you everywhere. She's a vocal girl when she wants attention, she rubs on legs and tries to stand up to be held. She's very playful and loves the wand toy.
She gets along fine with other cats, but it's strange that once she's in full relaxation while being pet, if another cat even comes into view she will chase them away to have all my attention lol!! Honestly, she would thrive as a one cat only cat because then she could get ALL the loves, but I suspect she could learn to share attention with existing cats once hierarchy was established. I make no promises though lol!! Cats will be cats!
Athena has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, tested negative for FELV/FIV and she is micro chipped.
