Astrid

Astrid is a sweet, quiet, and mellow girl who is just waiting for someone to give her the chance to truly blossom. She absolutely loves attention and starts purring the moment she receives pets! Chin and cheek scratches are some of her favorites, and she may even roll over to invite you to give her a belly rub. <br/><br/>Astrid has been wonderful with her foster's 5-year-old and 2-year-old granddaughters. She has been very patient and enjoys receiving gentle pets from them.<br/><br/>She has had limited interaction with dogs. When she sees them, Astrid prefers to observe from a safe distance and can be a little nervous, so she would likely appreciate a slow and patient introduction if joining a home with dogs.<br/><br/>Astrid initially hissed when introduced to the other cats in her foster room, but she has gotten used to having them around. She tends to keep to herself rather than seeking them out, so she may do best with a calm feline companion who will give her space.<br/><br/>Astrid also enjoys the simple things in life, quietly sitting by the window and watching the world go by, relaxing in your lap, and soaking up some love. She has shown some interest in toys and is always happy to receive attention from her people.<br/><br/>She is wonderfully cooperative with handling and will patiently sit on a lap for nail trims and other necessary care. She's such an easygoing girl!<br/><br/>Astrid would be a lovely addition to many different homes.
