Meet Ash

Ash came to ADOPT in October of 2018 from Naperville Animal Control. She was born around 2016.

OK, I admit it. When I first came to the shelter I wanted nothing to do with these humanoids. Not me, no sir, no way. Then one day someone offered me a treat. Well, I wasn't about to get to close but, when they put it on the floor, I thought "what the heck, I'll give it a try". OMG!! It was the most delicious thing I have ever tasted.

Well, these humanoids are very tricky. They used those treats to get me to climb up on their laps and even eat out of their hands. Then another thing happened. I felt a hand slowly run down my back. It felt pretty good.

That soft hand running dow my back felt so good that I decided that was even better than the treats. Now when I see someone I know, I hop up in their lap for pets. The treats were good but I don't need them anymore.
