Arya & Tpdd's Story

Todd & Arya were brought to us from very different locations but after almost two years in foster together they have become quite bonded and would love a home together.

TODD, also known as “Toddy with the Body,” a large and lovable brown and white tabby who’s as gentle as he is big. Despite his size, he is a gentle, easygoing boy who wouldn’t hurt a fly. In his foster home, he’s a relaxed, low-energy cat who prefers a peaceful life and isn’t interested in being at the top of any “totem pole.”

Todd’s ideal day is simple: napping, lounging, and watching the world go by, especially if Arya is nearby. He is very food motivated, enjoys chin and head scratches, and has grown more confident over time, now happily coming down from his perch to visit people instead of staying hidden.

He does require urinary food (or raw food diet) and regular brushing to keep him feeling his best, and he is currently on a weight loss journey to help support his long-term health. After 2 years in foster care without a permanent home, he hasn’t had the consistent space and activity he truly needs, but he has remained patient, sweet, and good-natured throughout.

Todd is happiest when he is calm, comfortable, and close to Arya. The two are deeply bonded and bring out the best in each other, and they must be adopted together into a loving home where they can finally relax and stay side by side.

ARYA
Arya is a beautiful brown and white tabby. When she first came into care, she was very shy and unsure of the world around her. A transition into a new foster home gently pushed her out of her comfort zone in just the right way, giving her the confidence she needed to start coming out of her shell and grow into the sweet, affectionate cat she is today.

Arya absolutely loves being petted and will happily soak up attention once she feels safe. One of her cutest quirks is her “stanky leg” dance. When you scratch her belly, she stretches one of her back legs out to optimize surface area. She has a medium to low energy level. She enjoys a little bit of play but is just as happy spending most of her time napping nearby or relaxing with her people.

She does best with slow, gentle introductions to other cats, as she can be unsure and defensive at first when she feels overwhelmed. She is currently on a weight loss journey along with her bestie Todd, as long-term foster care without a permanent home has meant less consistent activity than she truly needs.

More than anything, Arya is ready to be done with foster life. She is a sweet, loving cat who has waited far too long for someone to choose her. Arya and Todd must be adopted together, as they share a deep bond and are looking for a forever home where they can finally stop waiting and start living as someone’s family.

DOB

Date of Birth: Todd: April 2017
Date of Birth: Arya: July 2015
Colour Todd: Tabby & white
Colour Arya : tabby
Personality Traits Todd: Gentle, Smart, Funny, Quiet, Learning to trust
Personality Traits Arya: Smart, Independent, loves attention, Shy at first
Energy Level Todd: 1 - low energy
Energy Level Arya: 2 - medium low
Good With Children: no
Good with other Cats: yes
Good with Dogs: Untested
Good with other animals: Untested
Favourite things Todd: He likes treats and to be brushed
Favourite things Arya: Snacks, very food driven.
Medical Care Received: Neutered/Spayed, first shots, deflead, dewormed, microchipped

Adoption fee 450$
