Artemas's Story

Meet Artemas!

Artemas can be nervous around new people and unfamiliar situations, and when she's feeling scared, she may react defensively. Because of this, she's looking for an experienced, adult-only home where she can take things at her own pace.

The good news? She's already shown just how much she's capable of. Since arriving in foster care, she's made incredible progress. With consistency, patience, and a calm environment, she's transformed from keeping her distance to seeking out affection, approaching her foster family for pets, and enjoying their company.

Her ideal home is a quiet one with one or two adults who understand that building trust takes time. She's looking for someone willing to let her settle in without expectations and celebrate each small milestone along the way.

For the right person, Artemas be an incredibly meaningful companion. If you believe that the best relationships are built on patience and trust, this sweet girl is ready to find the home where she can continue to blossom.

Artemas has been examined by a veterinarian, spayed, microchipped, flea-treated, dewormed, and FVRCP vaccinated. She's looking for an indoor only home.
