Our Mission
FVHS is a non-profit feline adoption and rescue centre in Mission, B.C., Canada. We are here to help the community of Mission and our feline friends in need.
Adoption Policy
To apply to adopt any of our available cats, we invite you to visit anytime during our open hours for a meet and greet. If, after this introductory visit with the cat of your choice, you are just as in love as you thought you were when you found them online, we will give you an application to fill out for them.
We place an adoption hold on your selected cat while the society reviews your application, so you don't have to worry about competition while you wait to see if you've been approved.
If your application goes through, we will call you to book the official take home day!
FVHS does not do same day adoptions, and applications are held for review a minimum of 7 days before sending a cat home, to guard against impulsive adoptions and the subsequent returns.
We do adopt out indoor only. Application approval is based on Mission Bylaw regulations, lifestyle & compatibility with the individual cat. Applicants must be 19 years or older.
