Artecho's Story
Artecho is a 1 year old male Domestic Shorthair/Mix cat who weighs 7 pounds.

Meet Artecho!

Age: 1 year old

Sex: Male

Neutered: Yes

Adoption Fee: $145

Artecho is ready for his next chapter.

This sweet little brown tabby was the last cat from the ACO eviction waiting for a home. His siblings have all found wonderful families, and now it's Artecho's turn to find someone he can call his own.

Shelter life can be overwhelming for a sensitive young cat like Artecho. He may be shy when you first meet him, but there is a gentle, curious boy underneath that quiet exterior.

When his enclosure door opens, Artecho is ready to explore! He isn't looking for trouble-he simply wants to wander around and take in everything happening around him. He doesn't hiss or scratch, and he is easy to pick up and hold before being gently returned to his enclosure.

Artecho is the kind of cat who likes to take his time. He watches, observes, and slowly decides that you're someone he can trust. He isn't necessarily going to jump into your lap on day one, but that's what makes earning his trust so special.

Give him a quiet room. Sit nearby. Talk softly. Offer a few treats. Let him come to you when he's ready. And then, one day, you may notice him sitting a little closer. Then closer still.

And eventually, you'll realize that the once-shy shelter cat who needed a little extra patience has blossomed into your cat.

Artecho has lived around other cats with similar personalities and may enjoy having a calm, friendly feline companion in his new home. A confident cat friend could potentially help him feel more secure as he adjusts to his new surroundings.

Artecho would love a calm, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time to build. He would do best in a quieter home with respectful older children who can appreciate his sensitive nature. A calm, friendly cat could be a wonderful bonus, but no dogs, please. Most importantly, Artecho needs someone willing to give him patience, understanding, and plenty of love.

Sometimes the shyest cats form the deepest bonds. If you're willing to let Artecho move at his own pace, you may have the incredible privilege of watching him blossom and discovering just how much love this sweet boy has to give. ????

Walk-In Adoption Hours:

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday

12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
