Armando's Story
Meet Armando The Chillest Cat You'll Ever Meet!
If "taking it easy" were an Olympic sport, Armando would bring home the gold medal. In fact, if he were any more laid back, we'd have to check for a pulse. We're pretty sure this guy's life motto is, "Why rush? The nap isn't going anywhere." If we didn't know better, we'd swear he'd found the world's really, really good catnip!

Armando is a handsome 3-year-old white and gray gentleman with a heart as big as his love for lounging.

His rescue story is one we'll never forget. Armando was trapped in a rough area of town through the county's Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. After his surgery, a volunteer returned him to be released—but instead of running away like a typical community cat, Armando simply flopped down in the grass, rolled onto his back at her feet, and asked for belly rubs.

She knew immediately this sweet boy didn't belong on the streets.

So... back into the car he went, beginning his journey to find the loving home he deserved.

When his bloodwork later showed he was FIV-positive, his rescuer knew she'd made the right decision. While FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) isn't a death sentence, cats with FIV benefit from regular veterinary care and the safety of an indoor home.

The good news? FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, healthy lives just like other cats. They play, cuddle, purr, and love every bit as much as any other feline—they just need someone willing to look beyond three little letters.

Armando is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and easygoing. He gets along well with other cats but would also be perfectly content soaking up all the attention as your one and only feline companion.

Armando has been:

Neutered
Vaccinated
Treated for parasites
Combo tested (FIV+)

All that's missing is a family to call his own.

If you're looking for a gentle, low-maintenance companion who will happily supervise your Netflix marathons, afternoon naps, and lazy Sundays, Armando is waiting to meet you. Give this wonderful boy the second chance he deserves—you'll gain one of the sweetest friends you've ever had.
