Arashi (Ah-Rah-She) means "storm". Arashi, is a living namesake. A storm of emotion fills his tiny body, so much so that when he wants something, he makes it known. His affection is like a hurricane of love. He wants to be close to the person he loves most and will make that very clear, working himself into your lap.
Arashi would do best having a sibling with him to help get out his kitten energy, but also as a snuggle buddy. Give him the chance and he will show you that your life is much better off with him in it. If he rages too much in play though, don't be afraid to tell him to be 'Easy' or 'Gentle'. Just a reminder is always good, he's still just a kitten after all.
When introducing a new furry into an existing family of pets, we strongly recommend keeping them in separate rooms as they adjust to the smell of the new addition. Dogs in particular should be crated or secured to protect cats when there is no responsible adult to supervise.
Whether kittens / cats come in as strays or owner surrenders, we make our best guess as to birthdate and breed.
We are an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue. We receive no funding from agencies.
