Apollo 11's Story

Apollo 11 — one small step for a cat, one giant leap for your barn!

This 4-year-old tuxedo gentleman and is fully mission-ready: neutered, up to date on his medical care, and prepared to take command of his very own farm, shop, or acreage. With his sleek black-and-white suit, Apollo 11 looks like he’s permanently dressed for a very formal space launch.

Apollo 11 is a bit more of an independent explorer than a cuddle astronaut. While he’s not looking to be the star of your living room, he is ready to patrol barns, outbuildings, and property lines like the fearless cosmic ranger he is. Think of him as your personal Rodent Control Space Program — keeping watch over your land while enjoying the great outdoors.

Like the historic mission he’s named after, Apollo 11 prefers wide open space and a job to do. A farm, acreage, or shop where he can live outside with shelter and regular meals would be the perfect launch site for this distinguished space traveler.

If you’re looking for a self-reliant cat who’s ready to boldly go where the mice are… Apollo 11 is prepared for liftoff.

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
