Annie's Story
Hi! My name is Annie and I am looking for a great new home. I was a free roaming cat (some call us "ferals") with an unusually sweet personality. Before the lady who took me in met me, I was trapped and spayed by TNR, which explains my "tipped" ear. In the first 18 months of my life, I've spend time on the street, where I was trapped, time in a nice lady's home, time in the OKC Shelter (that's quite a story), now time at a rescue. It's about time I found a permanent home to call my own. Could it be yours? PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours. If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form. Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center. If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation. Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens. If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.
