Annie's Story

**Note: PetFinder sometimes has issues with delivering inquiries. If you do not hear from us within a couple days, please email us directly at stina.larson@gmail.com or email directly regardless.**

Annie is a truly special girl with a quiet, loving heart. For most of her life, she survived in a cat colony, never knowing the comfort of a home or the security of consistent care. Now safe in her foster home, Annie is discovering just how wonderful it is to be loved—and she’s ready to find a forever home of her own.

At around 9 years old, Annie is what we like to call beautifully mature. She’s in good health and has so much love to give. She doesn’t need much—just a peaceful space, a soft place to rest, and a kind human who will give her the attention she’s always deserved.

Annie has a gentle, affectionate nature and will quietly form a strong bond with her person. After a lifetime of uncertainty, she will be incredibly grateful to have a warm home where she never has to worry about finding food or shelter again. In return, she’ll offer sweet companionship and a calm, comforting presence.

She would do best in a quieter home where she can truly relax and feel safe. Older, respectful children who understand how to be gentle and give her space would be just fine. Annie has also been around dogs and may do well with a calm, cat-friendly pup.

Annie’s story is one of resilience, and her future is full of hope. All she needs now is someone willing to open their heart and home to a cat who has waited her whole life for this chance.

Could you be the one to give Annie the love, safety, and happiness she’s been missing?

Her adoption fee is $60.

Annie is around nine years old. She has been spayed and vaccinated. She is litter box trained.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.

For additional information on our group and what we do, please check out our website: www.pawsitivity.info

Pawsitivity's Adoption Policy
Adopter understands that kittens/cats available for adoption have been rescued from a variety of situations, including neglect/abuse, as such could be subject to health or behavioral problems not known at this time. Adopter agrees and accepts the kitten/cat with this understanding. The kittens/cats are healthy and up to date on all vaccines and medical treatments which were necessary for the health of the kitten/cat. Rescuer/foster makes no further guarantees or warranties of any kind for health of the kitten/cat and that the adopter assumes all risks at/from the time of initial possession and following. Adopter understands full responsibility for the health and welfare of the adopted kitten/cat for the duration of the natural life. The responsibility includes all costs for veterinary and health needs, housing and shelter, food and any other expenses related to care and welfare. Adopter agrees to contact a veterinarian to follow up vaccines, if needed. Adopter understands that declawing cats is a cruel procedure and will not do that to the adopted kitten/cat. Adopter agrees to pay the adoption fee/donation. We do not have an adoption application, but we do want to speak to the potential adopter and ask a few questions in order to make sure we find the right fit for our cats/kittens.
