Anna

Anna is a young, small cat who was recently brought to the rescue after being trapped by a Good Samaritan. Our recent brutal winter temperatures caused frostbite in both of Anna's ears. Because of extensive damage, the top portion of her ear tissue necropsed (dead tissue) and had to be surgically amputated.<br/><br/>Anna was in foster care and adjusted extremely well to indoor life. Her remaining ear tissue healed well, and she has blossomed into a healthy, loving little cat. She is a fabulous lap cat; her foster mom reportes that Anna has fallen asleep in her lap for hours while 'mom' is working on a computer. Anna also has her own little sleeping pad next to the computer keyboard, where she likes to wash, look out the window, or sometimes just doze off, content and happy to be with a human. She adores being petted almost as much as she loves canned food and the occasional treat.<br/><br/>Anna has been gradually introduced to the other cats in the foster home. But Anna is a confident little thing and will do better in a home without other cats as she tries to exert dominance. Anna was returned to our location because she began terrorizing the two cats in the foster home.<br/><br/>She does love her humans though and loves to be held and with her small size, this makes it easier. <br/><br/>Anna is a small girl weighing around 7 pounds and is estimated to be about 3-4years old.
