Hi, friend! My name is Angel and I am sent from above! I was a homeless kitty until I arrived at FFAS and I am sweet as can be. I love people and am very affectionate and warm. I don't mind being picked up and am comfortable being handled. I also like other cats and kittens and the humans here think I was a mom. I am wary of dogs and don't really like how loud they are! Overall, I am a staff favorite and would love to come home with you!

The humans here took me to the vet and found out I have FIV. FIV is similar to other immunodeficiency viruses and is passed from cat to cat through deep bites and blood mixing or from mother cat to kitten. Other social interactions like sharing litter boxes, grooming, or drinking/eating out of the same bowl do not typically transfer the virus. I will have FIV for my whole life, but it can be managed by protecting my immune system and taking me twice a year to the vet for check ups.

I have had vaccines, been dewormed, been spayed, and have been Combo Tested (Positive).
The cost to adopt is $125.00. The adoption process begins with an Adoption Application that can be located under the Adopt tab @ www.faithfulfriendsnc.org.
