Amy's Story

Written: 5/10/26
Updated: 7/27/26
Age: 4 months, born March 2026
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Meet Amy!

Amy is a gentle, sweet, quiet, reserved, companion yet playful, independent, respectful, and attentive. She is such a pretty girl - so affectionate and playful. She is a very easy kitten- she's happy to be around you and left to her own devices- she's independent but not aloof. She can be skiddish at first and a master at stealth and hiding. Once she warms up, her nurturing side becomes evident. When she's not busy making muffins for the other foster kitties, she's grooming them or snuggling up with them. She is low energy and can keep herself company!

This princess does well with other pets (dogs and cats) and is ready for her furever home! She is litter box trained and would be happy as a single cat or with some animal friends in the home! She gives older sister vibes who is used to the little ones getting all the love. She puts others first and doesn't ask for attention for herself, but is secretly waiting for the spot on the couch next to you to open up so she can curl up beside you.

Her foster mom likes to compare her to Emma Stone- refined, independent, inquisitive, and looks good in pink! She is an avid bird watcher and would love for you to join her.

Her superpower? Excellent Skedaddler.

She will love you as you are, because you love her as she is. She would do well with/without another cat. She is a total window watcher and loves to hang around you!

Amy is up-to-date on age-appropriate core vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. While she has not been tested for FeLV and FIV, her mother has tested negative. She is litter box trained, and all Beagles and Bentleys cats are required to be indoor only. Her adoption fee is $150 and covers the cost of her care while in foster. To apply to adopt Amy, please apply at beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt.

Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.

Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
