Amara's Story

Amara is a very chatty and adventurous bengal kitty who, on her own terms, can become quite a snuggly girl. She loves chin scratches and climbing to high places. You can often find her checking the acoustics of the house by hollering in the hallways, or attempting to explore the top cupboards in the kitchen. She sees closed doors as a test to her gymnastic ability, and would likely enjoy a home with a catio, or a safe and enclosed backyard.

Amara sleeps with her foster mom every night, snuggling up on the blankets. She likes to get cozy on the couch or at your desk while you're doing work, and makes a fine lap kitty while not getting too in the way.

She must be the only animal. Amara has shown many times before that she does not like other animals and must be the sole one. She gets nervous and jealous when there's competition around, and will isolate herself or get scrappy with the other animals. She's very sweet with people who she gets to know, but can be a little skittish and shy at first. She has never bit or scratched her foster on purpose, but loooves to unleash her primal side while playing (classic bengal behaviour).

Amara has been on a long journey searching for her fur-ever home, and is looking forward to settling down with someone who will love her in all her quirky glory!
