Alvina's Story

Meet Alvina —

Some cats are silky. Some are soft. Some are pretty. Some are cute. Some are princesses, and some are tomboys.

Alvina took one look at those categories and said, “Why not be all of them?”

She's silkysoft, prettycute, playfully chill, and independently snuggly — a oneofakind girl who doesn't fit into any box except the one she chooses to nap in.

Alvina loves being near her people without ever being intrusive. She won't beg for attention, but she'll never turn it down, especially if chin scratches are involved. Stop too soon and she'll gently lick your hand as if to say, “Excuse me... we weren't done.”

She's cautiously curious about new people, dogs, and situations, taking her time to observe before joining in. Once she decides you're safe, she locks in — and when she's in, she's in. Expect a transition period, but also expect a loyal, steady companion on the other side of it.

Alvina needs a playful feline friend but is respectful of other pets' boundaries. She loves her toys — springs, tunnels, balls — but she absolutely needs a feather toy which will keep her entertained for hours. She uses her scratching box like a pro and handles household noises without fear.

She's ready for her own family now. She'll do well with kids and dogs given a little adjustment time. Alvina is the rare cat who blends sweetness, independence, curiosity, and calm in a way that feels effortless.

If you're looking for a cat who truly broke the mold — the kind who brings her own quiet magic into a home — Alvina is your girl.

If you would like to meet me please go to furryfriendswa.org, click adopt and fill out an application.
