Meet Ali
Ali is a beautiful, quiet-but-curious, 1.5-year-old cat who likes to explore. She is looking for her forever home!
This beautiful girl is super reserved. After sticking to her carrier and the bathtub her first day, she eventually couldn’t resist her natural inquisitiveness and ventured out a bit on her second day. She was bold enough then to approach the resident cat. They were very polite at first but became friends quickly!
She loves petting, but she likes to decide when she feels like it—she currently comes seeking pets in the morning and at bedtime. When receiving pets, Ali purrs and meows the whole time to show her enjoyment
At other times during the day, this calico lady is so independent, wandering around and checking out the rest of the house or playing with her resident cat friend. She is especially fond of napping in her cat tree.
When it’s time for some exercise, she and her resident cat enjoy a game of tag. Because of her reserved nature, she has approached wand toys gradually. At first, she only batted at them with her paw, but she is now moving on to chasing it.
She also LOVES food! At mealtimes, she sometimes finishes all her food in one sitting, and then attempts to finish up the other cat’s food too; keeping them separate while eating has worked well.
Ali’s ideal home would be with someone who is around a lot, and who has the patience and compassion to help her gain the confidence she needs to feel comfortable in her surroundings. She will thrive with a human who gives her enough space to be by herself, while being ready to accept her when she comes forward for love and pets. A home with another gentle resident cat (she hasn't met any dogs or children) would also give her a fun friend to play with.
This stunning girl has so much love to give to the right calm, loving family. Could her forever home be with you?
