Alfie recently underwent hip surgery and is recovering well, but he'll need a family that understands his ongoing needs and is willing to give him the time and support he deserves. Don't let that fool you into thinking he's fragile, though Alfie's favorite thing in the world is people! He loves attention, affection, and being the center of your universe. Whether he's soaking up pets, following you around, or curling up nearby, Alfie is happiest when he's with his humans. The adoption fee is $50. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All cats and kittens have been vaccinated for Distemper, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will also be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for FeLV/FIV. Cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home.

At CCHS, we invite all interested parties to apply to adopt a pet. We work to place animals in forever homes as quickly as possible. The application asks for basic information and details about the pet you are looking for. All applications are reviewed by our Adoption Committee, it is not first-come, first-served. Our Adoption Committee will get back to you in 24-48 hours.
