While Alexander may not be the life of the party, he’s got a quiet charm that’s just waiting for the right person to notice.<br/><br/>Alexander is a sensitive soul—very much a “flight, not fight” kind of guy—who can be shy and unsure in new situations. He prefers to take his time getting to know the world (and you!), and will need a patient home that understands that trust is something he builds slowly, step by step.<br/><br/>Because of his timid nature, Alexander would likely thrive in a barn or farm setting where he can have space, routine, and a job to do—or with a dedicated adopter who enjoys helping shy cats come out of their shells. With kindness and consistency, he has all the potential to grow into a quietly loyal companion.<br/><br/>If you’ve got a soft spot for the underdogs (or undercats), Alexander might just be your perfect little project—and your biggest reward.<br/><br/>Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! <br/><br/>Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.<br/><br/>Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
