Aida and Mocha are precious one-year-old cuddle-seekers looking for a forever floor to sprawl across! Mocha is an adventurous seeker looking for a friendly lap to sit in, and a fun, active house to call home.

Aida and her sister Mocha adore other cats. They have always lived with several cats (dogs unknown, and no young children, please).

Aida is loving. She is always cozying up with her cat buddies or begging for belly rubs. Her culinary tastes are unique...she craves bagels. She will tear through the plastic bags to get at them. When we have them, we must keep the bags closed and out of reach. Interestingly, she is not equally intrigued with all breads.
Mocha is affectionate and playful—she particularly likes to chase strings and will leap into the air to catch them. She also likes to sleep in high-up perches surveying her domain below. Although she is an indoor kitty, Mocha is a “don’t fence me in” kind of gal who is not a fan of the cat carrier or other enclosures. She likes to be free like a cowgirl, roaming the range (aka the run of the house).

These beautiful girls are playful. Aida will search out trinkets and toys to play with, but her definition of “toy” is broad. She digs into vases and likes fishing for toys in shoes; she has even taken the drain guards out of our sinks. Mocha really likes running water and will jump into sinks and other faucets when they turn on.

Aida needs to play. She likes chasing strings and yarn puffs, climbing in cardboard boxes, and chasing other cats like her sister Mocha. Beyond that, her favorite hobbies include sprawling across the floor, sleeping with her humans, and nibbling on forbidden bagels. Mocha enjoys sleeping as high as possible on the cat tower while her people are away or busy, followed by jumping down as soon as they get home to keep them company, play with her string toy, climb on their laps, and nuzzle her face into theirs.

Aida and Mocha currently live with 3 adult humans and a lot of cats. They have access to two stories, one of which is a big attic with a lot of climbing space. Aida also sneaks into the basement all the time but is easy to catch. They both have access to lots of room, cat trees to climb, and affectionate humans to play with; they have thrived in this scenario and will do best with a similar setup in their forever home.

The ideal home for these two would have space to run around, a warm heater to sleep near, and (for Aida) some bagels bags to break into when the mood strikes. They do best in the company of someone special to give them constant compliments and belly rubs while also keeping them company—whether that’s running around the house or just chilling on the couch or on a lap, with plenty of pets and snuggles.
