Ace Tabby Stanstead, QC

Ace is a sweet and calm 10-year-old grey tabby, who sadly is in search of a new home. He was surrendered into our care because the resident dog was not good with him and the dynamic was causing Ace considerable stress.

What Ace needs is a quiet home where he can happily live as the only pet. Initially timid, once he gets to know you and feels secure, he becomes very affectionate. Moving into a new home won’t be an easy transition for this gentle senior so his adopter should be willing to give him the time he needs to adjust and feel safe. He is not well suited to a shelter environment so we are hoping it won't be too much longer before he can settle into a loving forever home.

Ace doesn't ask for much. His favourite things are high places, sunbathing by the window, sparkly pompoms, feathers on strings and his scratching posts. At first, Ace likely won't curl up right next to you, but he will never be too far.

Though shy, he is a talkative boy and will meow for his food when you wake up in the morning. He will also likely come to greet you at the door when you return from an outing.

Ace recently had a complete check-up and other than being a little overweight, he is healthy and agile.

Ace deserves to live his life in peace and comfort with a family who will love him and make sure his golden years are his best years ever.
