Abby's Story
Meet Abby

Abby is an 8-year-old grey tiger beauty with a tender heart and a story that will stay with you. She recently experienced the sudden loss of the person she loved most-the only life she had ever known.

For eight years, Abby was deeply loved, cared for, and safe. When her person passed, their family did everything they could to help, but ultimately made the difficult decision to trust us to find Abby a new beginning. Her two brothers have already found homes, but Abby is still waiting... quietly hoping her turn will come.

Abby is understandably shy, timid, and still healing from everything she's been through. The world feels a little overwhelming right now. She tends to observe from a safe space, taking everything in before deciding it's okay to trust. She may not be the first to greet you-but if you give her patience and kindness, she will begin to show you her gentle, sweet nature.

She can be handled, but prefers a slow, respectful approach. Abby isn't a "pick me up right away" kind of cat-she's the kind who builds a bond over time, and when she does, it's something truly special.

Abby has lived with other cats, but her brothers tended to pick on her, so she would do best as the only cat or in a home without dominant or assertive pets. She's been kept separate for her comfort and clearly feels safest without competition or stress.

Abby's ideal home:
Quiet, calm, and predictable
Patient humans who understand grief and healing
No aggressive pets (ideally the only cat)
A safe indoor environment where she can slowly come out of her shell

Abby doesn't need perfection-she just needs someone willing to meet her where she is, to give her time, and to remind her that she is safe and loved again.

Because sometimes, the quietest hearts just need the softest place to land.
