Hi! I’m Abby!

I’m just about the cutest kitty you’ll ever meet. My foster mom says I have resilience. I’m not sure what that means, but she says it with a smile, so I go with it.

I have cute legs that are a little short in the front, so I have an adorable waddle. Since my legs are a little short I can’t jump as much or as high as other cats, but I can climb as good as any rock climber. I very much enjoy using stairs and ramps, but you will find me at the top of cat trees and wonder how I got there. Teehee. I’m a monkey. Lol

My eyes do not work perfectly, so I depend on my sense of smell to tell me who is near me. A good side to this is if you walk towards me, I will get out of your way and not trip you. If you would like to pet me, just let me smell your hand to know it’s you. I gotta check those credentials. I love to have my head pet. I also love to be pet before I eat my food. It’s kind of my favorite time of day.

Since my eyes are not perfect, I prefer toys that are bright and colorful. They are easier for me to see. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to chase bright colored toys. I also prefer to nap in high places so I know I am out of the way. If I am on the floor, it’s ok, I am good at finding places to hide so I feel safe.

Lastly, I am diabetic. I currently take insulin 2 times a day. If you give me my shot in the same place every day, I learn real fast where I should be for feeding and medicating. I kind of enjoy my shot as I get to spend time with my human and the insulin does help me feel good.

I get along well with other cats, just so long as they call me by my full name, Her Royal Highness Queen Abbitha the first.
