Pip Squeak Parrot Conure Alexander, NC

Pip Squeak wants the world to know that bald IS beautiful! Pip Squeak is a 19 year old sun conure who not only plucks, but used to have a friend who would pluck his head. Pip Squeak has had a veterinary check and is doing fine. He is a funny little guy who loves shredding toys. He also enjoys fresh foods, and time outside in the aviary when possible.

Pip is wary of many (but not all) new people, and has the unfortunate habit of flying at many new people to bite their ears. Because of this, we think he'd do best in a quieter home without visiting friends or kids coming and going. Pip learns you are okay by having you give him treats and doing some training with him while he is inside the cage, until he is comfortable with you. Then, he can be a great little friend and enjoys playing on a playstand near people he is comfortable with - especially if you come over and give him attention, treats, or do some training with him from time to time. He also loves music, and if you snap or click along with it, he may join in. Pip Squeak has participated in parrot training sessions, and does well. So may be a good candidate for someone wants to do training with a bird!
