Meet Marino
Marino is a sassy and curious little quaker who loves to eat! His favorite activities include screaming if you go to eat without inviting him and trying to convince you that he's a taste-tester and must get first dibs on your plate. Marino enjoys being a shoulder companion and destroying his toys. He is a typical quaker and has clear body language when he intends not to step up, but he does well leaving his cage on a perch and flying after his flock. Marino is a little too loud for an apartment, but he doesn't call out incessantly, learning a solid routine in his foster home that includes time to chill in his cage. He is working on transitioning to a healthy diet and despite what he might try to grab off your plate, should stick to fruits, veggies, and an occasional nut as his people food.
