These 2 rats were surrendered by a local teen. The boys are 8 month old brothers. 1 with a grey head and 1 pure white with black eyes. They are a bit overweight, hopefully with a good diet and treat restriction they could cut back some weight and live a nice healthy life of maybe another year or 2! Theyre handleable but nervous. I wouldn't recommend these rats as children's pets. They need a calmer home to decompress in. Currently being treated for possible mites. Though they were a bit dirty and sniffley, their condition is overall good. We are monitoring for respiratory issues and preventatively treating for that as well. The boys should be cleared from quarantine in another week if no further issues develop! Adoption fee for the pair will be $30. Rat experience is not required but we will need to discuss husbandry to ensure you are fully prepared for proper care.
