Wilbur's Story

Wilbur came to us recently after being found as a stray in Natick. He is a sweet, personable little guy who enjoys laying in his fleece bedding. We are not sure on his history, but he may do well bonding with another male guinea pig.

Guinea pigs are active, gentle, relatively low-maintenance pets that love companionship and make great pets for gentle children ages 6 and up. Guinea pigs are happiest with a clean cage and plenty of time to socialize with their person. They require fresh hay and greens (lettuce, parsley, basil, etc.) daily. If you would like to adopt this friendly pair, fill out our adoption application: medfieldshelter.com/adopt

Our guinea pig adoption fee is $25 for one or $35 for a same-sex pair.
