Hi everyone! My name is Thumper and I cant wait to find my forever home! I was born sometime in 2008 and I am a Rex breed. I have a unique quality, Im 90% litter-trained. Im a very social bunny and will let you pet me as much as I can get them. Im an avid chewer, so lots of toys is a must for me. I especially enjoy wooden spoons and paper towel rolls. I really like playing with hard plastic cat toys-I flip them in the air just to hear the noise. My friends at the Windmill say its quite entertaining. Im very curious about my surroundings and love to explore. I will however stop by for a head rub now and then. I have the best litter box habits when you give me an unlimited supply of hay in my litter-box. I love greens all sorts, the darker the better. My favorites include parsley and dark romaine lettuce with small pieces of fruit as a treat. Oh yeah, I love to munch on carrots too! I tolerate being held most of the time and this will improve the more you spend time holding me. I am a very calm bunny and would do best in a calm environment. Im currently working on some behavioral issues. You see Im a little possesive and dont like people messing with my stuff and tend to nip a little when things in my cage get moved around. My foster mom says that there is a really easy fix to this, you just have to kennel me when you clean my cage. I love to be held and petted and never nip any other time. I would love to play with you and get some of those famous head rubs, Come on in to the shelter to meet me. I know it will be love at first site.
