Swallowtail & Hornworm - We're a bonded pair!'s Story

Meet Hornworm and Swallowtail, two fluffy little "caterpillars" who are as sweet as their names suggest.

Hornworm prefers the safety of her nook, but doesn't let her pretty dark fur disguise her. She might be a little nervous to fully come out of safe space, but she'll pop her head to make sure isn't missing anything. She likes to let Swallowtail take the lead and prefers to be her shadow. Her confidence blossoms when Swallowtail is by her side, especially if there are cucumbers involved.

Swallowtail has the prettiest marbled fur and she uses it to her advantage. This sweet girl is a true social butterfly who loves hanging out in the open, happily munching hay and keeping up with the neighborhood gossip by chatting through the pen walls with fellow piggies.

Together, they are inseparable- napping huddled together in a cozy dark den, darting away in perfect unison when startled, but ready to return for a delicious snack. When it's mealtime, they scramble up and hop onto the pen wall side-by-side, eager to be first. They can be a little shy at first, but their bond with each other is full of charm and just enough sass to keep things interesting.

Dog sociability: Co-exist with dogs in the foster home!
Cat sociability: Possibly with proper introduction to critter-friendly cat!
Kid sociability: Previously lived with children under 10
Litter box habits: Pretty good! Mostly goes near their hay pan and hideouts.

Likes: They both love a dark nook big enough for them both to cuddle up together. They LOVE their cookies (especially Vitamin C cookies) and carrots as their special treats. As true sisters, they have no problem sharing their dishes and will eat from the same bowl.

Dislikes: Not letting their cute trick of showing how adorable they are at begging for their next snack win you over.

The adoption fee is $50.
