Spike's Story

Oh, hi new friends. We are Spike and Tom. I, Tom, will be doing the narrating for our profile. I'm the big dude of the two of us...I weigh about three-and-a-half pounds! My lil' bro, Spike, isn't all that small either and he weighs just under two pounds.

Crunchy delish romaine lettuce leaves make us happy. We also love our daily helping of timothy hay! One thing that makes us so excited is being adopted together.

Spike and I still are on the shy side. Being picked up is still something we are getting used to. The nice people at MHS are teaching us slowly and positively that it is okay to be held and we don't have to be scared. Would you please keep working with us so we can become comfortable with being more social?

Once we have acclimated a little bit, we love to snack while being petted. I will chirp for back rubs. Relaxing in our guinea pig houses and coming out when we hear the treat bag crinkle are big parts of our day!

We are both about three years old. Please come adopt us. Love, Tom and Spike. We're waiting for you!
