Smokey & Litter (4 Ms/5 Fs)'s Story
Meet Mama Smokey & Her Litter

Mama Smokey came to us with an unexpected litter after a family was unable to safely rehome them on their own. Despite being very young and tiny herself, she did an incredible job raising her babies — and everyone is now healthy, thriving, and ready for homes.

This litter includes 4 baby girls and 5 baby boys. The babies are young, energetic, and may be a little shy at first, but they warm up quickly with consistent, gentle handling. The boys tend to be especially trusting and interactive, making them a great fit for a wide range of homes, including confident beginners. The girls are playful, adventurous, and full of energy — they may do best with slightly more experienced handlers, as they are quick, curious, and love enrichment and active playtime. All of these babies would make wonderful additions to existing mischiefs with proper introductions.

Same-sex pair or group adoptions are preferred, and we especially encourage groups of three or more. Discounted adoption fees apply:
$30 single
$35 bonded pair
$40 flat fee for trios or larger groups

This case is being fostered by Julia in Ball Ground, GA.
To apply, please visit the Adoption tab on our website:
www.garatrescue.weebly.com

Updates:
2/28/26: Mama Smokey is not pregnant and is now available for adoption.

3/1/26: Mama Smokey and two of her daughters have been adopted. At this time, three baby girls from this litter remain available, along with additional girls from a newer intake. All boys were still available at this stage.

3/27/26: We currently have three boys remaining from this litter (two agouti berkshires and one agouti silvermane hooded). They have now been successfully integrated and bonded with the remaining boy (black hooded) from the Love Litter and will be placed together as a group of four. There are also two agouti silvermane berkshire girls remaining from this litter. They are currently integrated with the Love and Lucky litters and may be adopted together as a pair or as part of a larger mixed group from the combined litters.
