Sleepy-Foster's Story
Sleepy is a 3-month-old brown and white American guinea pig who is a little shy but has plenty of potential to blossom with the right person. New people can be intimidating for her, and she would benefit from continued gentle socialization to help her build confidence.

Sleepy has lived with children before and could potentially do so again with respectful handling. At her foster home, she has been living beside other guinea pigs and seems to enjoy having their company nearby. Guinea pigs are social animals and typically do best with other guinea pigs of the same gender, so her adopter should consider bonding her with another female pig.

When it comes to snacks, Sleepy has excellent taste. Bell peppers, parsley, and blueberries are some of her favorites, which might come in handy when showing her that people can be pretty great, too.
