Scylla SPECIAL NEEDS

Scylla is an approximately 6 month old (DOB approx February 2026) female roborovski dwarf hamster who came to us when her owners couldn't keep her or her relatives anymore. <br/><br/>Scylla has a malformation of her tail and spine. She has a very small tail internally, but it isn't externally visible. Her genitals are unusually close together and puts her at a higher risk of vaginal infections. She has already been treated and recovered from one while in rescue, but her adopter will need to keep an eye on her and be prepared to bring her to the vet if any discharge or other abnormal symptoms arise.<br/><br/>We absolutely love Scylla. She is a bit spicy, sometimes prone to nipping though she does not bite hard. She is able to be picked up, but is very wiggly like most robos and hard to catch. She is so adorable, though, and really fun to watch exploring her enclosure.<br/><br/>We can meet for adoptions within 1 hour of Minneapolis or Faribault, MN.
