Rizzo is an adult female guinea pig who came to us needing some extra help. When she arrived, she had a large abscess on her cheek that required veterinary care. She has already made multiple trips to the vet and, thanks to lots of care and attention, her abscess is looking much better. However, her future family should be prepared that she may need additional follow-up care or another vet visit if the issue returns.<br/><br/>Despite everything she's been through, Rizzo has remained an absolute sweetheart. She is gentle, loving, and has handled all of the changes and medical care like a champ.
