Raven & Her Girls's Story
Raven & Her Girls – Sweet Young Family Ready for Their Next Chapter

Names: Raven (mom) & 4 baby girls
Location: Metro Atlanta Foster Home
Age: Raven (mom): ~6 months, Baby girls: ~2 months
Sex: All female
Adoption Requirement: Must be adopted as a group or approved split (no single placements)

About This Family:
Raven is a young, gentle mama who recently finished raising her surprise litter. She did a wonderful job caring for her babies, and now that the girls are fully weaned and independent, this little family is ready to move on to their next chapter. The baby girls are still young and adjusting to life outside the nest — curious, active, and learning confidence each day. Like many young rats, they’ll benefit from continued gentle handling and positive socialization as they grow. Raven herself is still very young and has plenty of playful, affectionate energy ahead of her.

This group would do well in a home ready for the fun (and chaos!) of young rats, or with an adopter interested in keeping a small family unit together. We strongly prefer to place them as a group, but a 2/3 split may be considered for the right homes. We do not place single rats.

Ideal Home:
- Ready for young, active rats
- Willing to continue socialization and handling
- Able to provide appropriate space for a growing group
- Not intended as surprise “starter pets” — rats are a commitment

These girls are ready to leave mom now that everyone is healthy, stable, and thriving.

Interested in adopting Raven and her girls?
