If you’re late with the salad, don’t worry — Raspberry will lovingly remind you with a full chorus of squeaks!<br/><br/>Why Raspberry Will Steal Your Heart:<br/>She’s the loudest and proudest at veggie time (and you’ll love every squeak).<br/><br/>She melts into your lap during cuddle sessions with leafy greens.<br/><br/>Her gentle, outgoing nature makes her perfect for families with kids or first-time guinea pig owners.<br/><br/>She’s healthy, low-maintenance, and always excited to see you.<br/><br/>Estimated birth date: 05/01/2019<br/><br/>Personality: Brave, Cuddly, Curious, Enjoys being held, Friendly toward humans, Inquisitive, Loyal, Sweet<br/><br/>Favorite treats: Veggies such as cucumbers; Oxbow treats<br/><br/>Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Senior Guinea Pig Food, Veggies, Leafy Greens, Western Timothy Hay<br/><br/>Favorite toys and activities: She is most interested in the flavored chew toys.<br/><br/>Potty trained: We have a hay box that Raspberry and her siblings use as a bathroom for a good portion of the time which helps with cleaning and reduces mess and odor. <br/><br/>This animal’s daily routine: Pellets, hay, Vitamin C cookie in the morning; floor time, change out hay box, in the evening; fresh veggie salad right before bed.<br/><br/>BFF: None - needs a buddy!<br/><br/>Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: None<br/><br/>Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Yes, she is very friendly with all the kids in our home (ages 7-14).<br/><br/>Health concerns: Raspberry has an ovarian cyst that has slightly grown. She is on medication 2x per day for that.<br/><br/>Behavioral concerns: None<br/><br/>Other notes: Right before we head to bed every night, Raspberry will wheek very loudly to let us know she would like to have her veggie salad. She will stand on her back legs at the front of the cage waiting and making eye contact with us until we assure her her salad is coming and bring it to her.<br/><br/>Raspberry came to MNPPR when their owner became to ill to continue caring for them. <br/><br/>Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Petsmart - 1640 New Brighton Blvd, MPLS MN 55413 for meet & greets, & adoptions. <br/><br/>Fee: Raspberry has an adoption fee of $35<br/><br/>We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask.<br/><br/>Raspberry's care while in rescue has not yet been sponsored.
