Ramona & Serafina

Ramona and Serafina are a bonded pair of approximately 1 year old female rats who came to us due to family issues.<br/><br/>Ramona (tan) is a very friendly and active rat. She loves climbing around, rearranging the bedding, and stashing food. She is always poking her head out when someone is near the enclosure. Serafina (black hooded) is a little more reserved, but she tends to follow Ramona's lead. She is also pretty curious and open to interaction. Serafina was overly skinny on arrival, but she gained over 20 grams in one week and is quickly getting back up to a healthy weight. Our vet wasn't able to find any specific reasons for the weight loss, and she has gained weight easily, so we suspect the girls were just getting unintentionally underfed.<br/><br/>We can meet for adoptions within 1 hour of Minneapolis or Faribault, MN.
