Pumpkin and Patch's Story

Pumpkin and Patch are gorgeous step-brother tri-color Abyssinian guinea pigs fathered by the same dad with two sister guinea pigs. Pumpkin is three months old, and Patch is three weeks old.

These boys have been lovingly raised and get along beautifully. They share a Midwest guinea pig habitat and eat unlimited timothy, alfalfa, orchard and botanical hays, fresh salad, veggies and pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch squares of red pepper, a vitamin C cookie, and some of their dark leafy greens.

These adorable and sweet boys deserve a guinea pig-loving home with people who will handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and their habitat nice and clean.

If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Pumpkin and Patch, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com

Their adoption fee of $50 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $75, you can purchase his guinea pig habitat, and all the supplies you’ll need to care for them.

They are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
