Peach and Cookie

Meet Peach & Cookie!

Peach and Cookie are a little different from some of the pairs we've introduced because these ladies are what we like to call our **middle-aged girls**. They are both 4 years old or just over 4 years old.

These two actually came to us as babies and were adopted from our rescue. After being in their adoptive home for about three years, they were returned to us, and they've now been back with the rescue for about a year.

We recently had an adoption inquiry for Peach and Cookie, but unfortunately, it fell through. So these two sweet girls are back on the market and looking for their forever home!

And let me tell you, these ladies have some personality!

**Peach** is the more outgoing and confident of the two. She doesn't seem to believe in hiding and is happy to come right up for snacks. She is incredibly friendly and has even been known to let people pick her up without trying to make a getaway!

**Cookie** is a little shyer than Peach, but she's becoming more comfortable and will come out of her hidey and wander around even when people are moving around the room. She's especially sweet during lap time and really relaxes once she's being cuddled.

These two are a wonderful pair, and we'd love to see them find a home where they can spend their golden years together.

**Interested in adopting Peach & Cookie?**
You can find our adoption application at **SoCalGuineaPigRescue.org**

**Please note:** Our minimum cage requirement for a pair of guinea pigs is **28" x 56" (or an equivalent or larger enclosure).** Guinea pigs need adequate space to exercise, explore, and live comfortably with their companion.

And as a little PSA: **Guinea pigs are not starter pets or pets for small children.** They are sensitive prey animals with specific care and housing needs, and they can remain skittish throughout their lives. They're best suited to homes with older, responsible children/teens or adults who understand their needs.

Learn more about guinea pig care, adoption, and our requirements at **SoCalGuineaPigRescue.org**.

#SouthernCaliforniaGuineaPigRescue #SoCalGuineaPigRescue #GuineaPigRescue #RescueGuineaPig #AdoptDontShop #GuineaPigAdoption #SeniorGuineaPigs #BondedGuineaPigs #GuineaPigsofInstagram #GuineaPigLove
