Papaya *SPECIAL NEEDS*'s Story
Meet Papaya,

This approximately, two-year old guinea pig was surrendered to us after his previous owner stated that they no longer wanted him. He was surrendered along with his friend Guavaand a female, Blackberry. He is a sweet little piggie who is quite confused and scared but is easy to handle and once in a home will likely settle in. Papaya arrived to our care with a nasty-looking abscess on his side. Upon examination by a vet, Papaya was prescribed antibiotics with the recommendation that it would ideally be surgically-removed. While we will care for Papaya as long as he is here, we know there are some guinea pig lovers out there who have room in their hearts for a special little guy. He takes his medication like a champ and is such a sweet little guy.

He is not yet neutered. There are no geographical restrictions on adoption and he does not come with supplies. If you have thought about adding a piggie to your existing bunch or would like to adopt Papaya with Guava, please come to the shelter to visit them today!
