He climbs up on the side of the cage in order to get closer to you and to beg for treats - he definitely LOVES his daily salads! He likes to run around and explore. He is very outgoing and isn't shy at all. He was surrendered with his female companion and their baby (but they're separated). He'd probably like having a male guinea pig friend to keep him company. He's a really fun guinea pig and we know you'll love him!<br/>Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as 'available for adoption', that means the animal is still in DPR's care. *Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up 'curb side'. Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *<br/><br/>DPR guinea pigs receive a vet check up prior to adoption!<br/>We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
