Oscar's Story

*single male guinea pig<br/>* orange/white Abyssinian <br/>*about 3 as of May 2026<br/>-These boys were owner surrendered to us when the owners couldnt care for them anymore. Unfortunately they were adopted out and returned after a year because the adopter didn't have time for them. Sadly in the stress of being returned, their bond broke and they got into a fight causing injuries to Oscar. They are much more relaxed separate and will be adopted out now as singles. Oscar got bitten in the eyeball when they split up and has been healing. Sadly his eyeball is no longer usable and has grown scar tissue over the top. We dont anticipate any long term issues and hes adapted quite well to being blind in one eye. He is a super sweet boy who really enjoys human interaction and attention. He likes butt scratches and pets and pretty much any love he can get! Like all guinea pigs, he runs initially when you go to catch him but settles in quickly when you hold him. Interested adopters should check out www.guineapigcages.com for information on recommended cages and https://guinealynx.info/ for information on care and feeding. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $25 per guinea pig, $45 for a pair

Judge's Park's Adoption Policy
**Please scroll down on any animal you are interested in and read their profile thoroughly. It tells all relevant information on the animal and also how you can begin the adoption process!** If interested in adopting an animal from Judge's Park, you must first fill out our adoption application at https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Once we get that completed and sent to us we can set up a visit to see the animal you are interested in. We cannot set up visits before we receive the application. Judge's Park does not have open hours and animals are visited by appointment only. No exceptions! Rabbits and cats require a home visit prior to adoption. We may or may not ask you of a picture of your cage and set up if adopting another type of animal. We have the right to refuse adoption to ANYONE. Adoption appointments, surrenders, or other visits are at the time scheduled. Not before and not after. If you arrive early, we ask that you wait in your car until your appointment time. If you will be over 30 minutes late, we ask that you reschedule for another day. We cannot schedule appointments after 6:30 in the evening. No calls no shows will NOT be rescheduled. Please be respectful of the people who take their time to run this rescue and their personal time that could be spent with their families. We strive to adopt animals to the best home that we can find for them. Many of them have been neglected, abandoned, and abused, and we will not allow them to be returned to such an environment. If we do not think a home is suitable, we will not place an animal in that home. All of our animals are adopted out as indoors only! If we are able, the animal will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption (all cats and rabbits). No animal will ever be adopted out for breeding. If you do not live close to us and are interested in an animal, we do work with transports. Pictures and/or video in lieu of a home visit may be required. All questions can be directed to judges.park@yahoo.com
