Opal and Rowen

Meet Opal & Rowen!

Opal, a beautiful brown agouti, came to us from a local shelter in September 2024 with her three young babies. She was pregnant again when rescued and welcomed three more babies in November. After raising all her little ones, Opal was paired with Rowen, a young pig from another rescue, and the two have been best friends ever since!

We estimate Opal is about 2 years old and Rowen about 1.5 years old as of October 2026.

These girls are full of energy and personality! They love wheeking loudly for their veggies and rearranging their cage (aka making a mess!). They’ll keep you entertained with their adorable antics and enthusiastic demands for treats!

Opal & Rowen are ready for their next chapter! These sweet girls deserve a loving forever home where they can enjoy plenty of fresh veggies and hay, and continue being their silly, energetic selves.

Could you be the one to give them the happy ending they deserve? Apply to adopt Opal & Rowen today and make these best friends part of your family!

Cage requirements: Guinea pigs need plenty of space to run, popcorn, and explore. Our minimum cage requirement for a pair is 28" x 56" or equivalent/larger. Bigger is always better!

Guinea pigs are not starter pets or pets for small children. They are sensitive prey animals with specific care, housing, dietary, and veterinary needs. They are best suited to homes with responsible older children/teens or adults who understand the commitment involved in caring for them.
