Noodle's Story

Toodle and Noodle were purchased from a pet store by a father for his daughter. But there simply just wasn't enough room in the home for these two tiny piggies. And here we are. The brother of the sister brought them to us, and he was told by others to "release" them or sell them as snake food. This is what we're up against folks: Pure evil ignorance. Regardless, one year old Noodle is neutered and ready to roll into someone whose house has enough room for a tiny two pound body. They must be homed individually because they started fighting as soon as they arrived in Rescue, which is common. Please reach out to reheartrescue@gmail.com if you don't hear back to us.

ReHeart Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

We require an adoption fee of $100 per rabbit and guinea pig. Cats are on a case by case basis. We also require a signed adoption contract with the understanding that the animal is to be returned to us if no longer wanted. The prospective adopter will need to have a phone interview with us and provide a veterinary reference if possible, plus one to two personal references. Lastly we require a home visit, which may sometimes be completed virtually, to check the habitat set up.
