Meet Merry and Pippin<br/><br/>That's Meriadoc "Merry" Brandybuck and Peregrin "Pippin" Took for you Lord Of The Rings Fans!<br/><br/>Merry is the black and white one and we put him at just under a year old. Merry is very chill and loves lap time and being petted. <br/>Pippin is probably about 6 months old now and is squirmy. Pippin can also be nippy when being held so we think an adult home would be best for them. Guinea pigs don't bite out of aggression and rarely bite at all. If they do its usually a sign of wanting to be put down and also a sign of not being treated too kindly before coming into the rescue. <br/><br/>We estimate these boys to be just under a year old (as of May 2026)<br/>These two sweet boys are part of our New Years Eve group rescued from an LA Shelter Dec 31, 2025.<br/>They were part of a group of 9 piggies surrendered to the shelter in absolutely awful shape.<br/>They were severely emaciated, filthy and soaking wet.<br/>We were closed to intakes at that time but there was no way we could leave them at the shelter.<br/><br/>Fast Forward to May 2026 and we think the boys are now ready to find their forever home.<br/><br/>We ask that adopters be willing to provide either a 2x4 grid c&c cage or larger.
