Merlin came into MNPPR super quite and scared of people. He now greats you with lots of wheeking, begging for treats, & every once in a while tiny popcorn leaps! <br/><br/>Favorite treats: Merlin loves his Vitamin C cookies and has taken quite a liking to strawberries. <br/><br/>Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Guinea Pig Food, Fruit, Veggies, Leafy Greens, Orchard Grass, Vitamin C Tablets<br/><br/>Favorite toys and activities: Couch snuggles & pulling all the hay out of the box to make a mess. <br/><br/>Potty trained: Does not use a litter box but only potties in cage<br/><br/>This animals daily routine: Merlin is super flexible but does try to convince you he needs a treat every time you crinkle a bag or walk into the room. He current receives his fresh foods in the morning and his vitamin C treats in the evening when his foster feeds her other animals. <br/><br/>BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Merlin has recently lost his cage mate. He will need a buddy in his forever home. <br/><br/>Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Merlin's foster has both dogs and cats who he is inquisitive about and shows no fear towards. <br/><br/>Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Merlin has done well with respectful kids as young as 1. <br/><br/>Health concerns: None<br/><br/>Behavioral concerns: None<br/><br/>Other notes: <br/><br/>Merlin & his late buddy Archimedes came to MNPPR when their previous owner became afraid their dogs would harm them. <br/><br/>Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at either PetSmart location in Rochester, MN - 3845 Marketplace Dr NW, Rochester, MN 55901 & 4603 Maine Ave SE #109, Rochester, MN 55904 for meet & greets, & adoptions. <br/><br/>Fee: Merlin has an adoption fee of $35<br/><br/>We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask.<br/><br/>Merlin's care while in rescue has not yet been sponsored.
